Mesotherapy for Local Fat Reduction with LED Cold Laser Body Contouring
Mesotherapy works by targeting receptors on the fat cell surface which cause lipogenesis (fat production) and lipolysis (fat breakdown). We have selected the Khalil Mesotherapy Formula, which stimulates the fat breakdown (BETA receptors), causing the fat to empty out of the cells. Phosphatidylcholine, an enzyme, is the most commonly used product to stimulate the beta receptors and is the main ingredient used at Agape Medi-Spa for mesotherapy and lipodissolve body contouring. It is also available in a take home bottle at $75 each for topical maintenance.
Mesotherapy / Lipodissolve is used to remove diet and exercise resistant fat. These are areas of fat accumulation and body shape that are more genetically determined than fat accumulation due to eating excess calories. Regular attempts at diet and exercise to change these areas of genetically determined body shape are destined to fail leading to frustration and yo-yo weight loss/gain due to binge dieting. Mesotherapy / Lipodissolve offers a solution to this issue. In general, a person is a good candidate for Mesotherapy / Lipodissolve if they are in 'good condition', have a stable or decreasing weight, and have less than 50 pounds of excess fat to lose. A person in 'poor condition', who is gaining weight due to over-eating, or has more than 50 pounds of excess fat to lose is not as good a candidate for this process as their eating habits will defeat the procedure benefits.
Typically it takes one syringe to cover an area the size of one 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper one inch deep. Most males and females request 3 syringes. Males want to remove the 'spare tire' around the belly and flanks, and females want to remove the buttock and thigh 'saddlebags'. There is a suggested upper limit of 10 syringes injected in one session for widespread body contouring. It takes one month for maximum fat loss to occur following each session. Multiple sessions may be required depending on the total amount of fat loss and body contouring desired by the individual. Future weight gain from over eating may require additional treatments to maintain the results achieved with the initial sessions.
LED “Cold Laser” Light Therapy is used to activate and energize the dormant fat cells’ mitochondria prior to each injection session. We use our new LiteCure Laser to eliminate any discomfort in the treated areas after each session. $75.00 per double panel for the LED and $25.00 per treatment area up to $75.00 for the LiteCure Laser. $500.00 for the first syringe which includes the fee for a follow-up treatment at one – two weeks with Dermasonic to encourage to encourage maximum fat loss and lymphatic drainage of any areas of swelling. $350.00 for each additional syringe to cover each additional area the size of an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper. Again, most males and females request an average of 3 syringes per session.
